The South Mountain Conservancy is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization whose mission is to protect, restore and enhance the South Mountain Reservation’s ecology, infrastructure and natural beauty. The Conservancy is the only group solely dedicated to ensuring the health of the Reservation for future generations to enjoy. With the help of dozens of volunteers we build, clear and maintain trails; we regenerate the forest and mitigate invasive species; and we run programs to engage with and educate the community. Our work is particularly important considering reduced county budgets and the environmental stresses placed on this exceptional natural resource.
